Branding
Motor Specialist, KGM Underwriters was acquired by the Howden Group in 2021. The business focuses on specialist and higher-rated motor insurance.
The new logo was designed to reflect its brand values; fast, friendly and flexible. The lower-case wordmark portrays a personal and approachable service, its curved, flowing lines inspired by the movement of the journey.
The arrow device has strong motoring connotations, providing a strong sense of forward momentum and the colour palette has traditional hues reflecting the heritage of the company, combined with fresher tones, as a further indicator of this new era.
